  2. Discontinuances: students on IWORK who are discontinuing their studies must complete the Travel Request to Return Home form immediately upon confirmation of their discontinuance notice to ensure timely travel arrangements and avoid unlawful presence in the United States.

Payment Deadline Fall 2026 Semester

The payment deadline for Fall 2026 charges and past-due balances is Friday, December 11. Failure to pay by the deadline will result in a hold on your student account that prevents adding and dropping classes until the balance has been cleared with Financial Services. Classes for Winter 2027 will be dropped if you are enrolled.

Questions? Contact financialservices@byuh.edu or (808) 675-3706.

IWORK and Hukilau Participant Employment Deadlines

All IWORK or Hukilau program students must secure a job with BYU–Hawaii (BYUH) or the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) by the third Wednesday after classes begin.

The PCC has the first opportunity to hire students in the IWORK program. Those not selected by the PCC must find employment at BYUH.

Any students in the IWORK or Hukilau programs still not employed by BYUH or the PCC by the second Wednesday after classes begin are required to meet with an IWORK, financial aid, or student employment counselor within 48 hours. Counselors will help students to find a job.

Failure to meet with a counselor and secure a job by the third Wednesday after classes begin will no longer be eligible for IWORK or Hukilau funding.
