Onboarding Fees

  • These fees are not included in the IWORK program:

    • $35 BeSmart.com application fee per student.
    • $220 SEVIS fee for each student (no cost for non-student spouse and children).
    • VISA application fees (to be paid in your country).
    • Embassy fee and interview fee (plus the cost of travel, luggage, lodging, meals, etc. to and from the embassy).
    • Airline ticket not including lodging and meals due to layover.
    • Immunization fees (contact Health Services for more information).
    • $600-$7,500 per student estimated annual family contribution.

    • $10,000 non-student spouse (to be deposited into BYUH student account prior to processing their DS2019).
    • $220 SEVIS fee for each student (no cost for non-student spouse and children).
    • VISA application fee (to be paid in your country).
    • Embassy fee and interview fee (plus the cost of travel, luggage, lodging, meals, etc. to and from the embassy).
    • Airline ticket not including lodging and meals due to layover.
    • $50 Temple View Apartment (TVA) housing fee application fee.
    • $300 security deposit for TVA.
    • Immunization fees (contact Health Services for more information).
    • $410 non-student work permit (EAD card).
    • $600-$7,500 per student estimated annual family contribution.
    • Additional funds for school supplies, food, etc. upon arrival.
    • Student Medical Benefit: as long as the student is a full-time student, the spouse and child/children are covered.
    • In addition, all students pay the following fees for services:
      • $10.00 for each visit to the Health Center.
      • 30% of the total cost of any medication.
      • 20% co-pay for medical services up to $2,000 per year.
